The Department of Town and Country Planning, Govt. of Goa on November 28, 2025, notified regarding the online system for building permissions and clearances.
The Government has directed that specified building permissions and clearances may be obtained through online or offline mode until January 01, 2026. After this date, the process will become fully mandatory through the online portal. The order specifically covers:
• development permission and technical clearances for multi-dwelling projects up to four units, and
• completion orders for constructions already approved online, requiring digital submission of drawings and documents. The transition aims to streamline approvals, improve transparency, and ensure efficiency in the building permission system.
